Momme/mm is a measure of silk fabric weight. The higher the momme value, the greater the number of silk threads per square meter of fabric. Our silk products contain 22mm for silk scrunchies and 25mm for silk pillowcases.

Silk is a natural and delicate fabric, so we recommend hand washing our silk pillowcases in water up to 30 degrees Celsius with a pH-neutral liquid detergent designed for silk. Remove stains by gently massaging the liquid detergent directly onto the spot. Rinse thoroughly in cold water. To dry, lay the item flat on a towel and reshape it. Dry flat or hang, avoiding direct sunlight.

It is more expensive but more durable and sustainable. It is obtained from cellulose, an organic fiber. The starting material for acetate extraction is cotton. Unlike processing cotton into textiles, cotton undergoes a complex process on its way to becoming acetate. In the production of clips, cotton is dried, ground into cellulose powder, then mixed with acetic acid, dyed, and at the end of the process, it is transformed into a solid sheet material. The frame of the clip is then cut and milled from these acetate sheets, or the desired shape is created for the final product.

All hair clips, barrettes, headbands, and combs are made from cellulose acetate – a flexible and durable material that does not contain petroleum and is made from cotton, wood, and pulp.
